Ideal for those looking for a nutritious and versatile stir-fry recipe that is easy to prepare and full of flavor.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers (red and yellow), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Freshly ground black pepper and chili flakes to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by washing and slicing the bell peppers and onion. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger. Have all your ingredients ready for quick cooking.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add the ground turkey. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  4. Return the cooked turkey to the pan with the vegetables. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and chili flakes. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes to blend the flavors beautifully.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Adjust soy sauce and chili flakes according to your taste preference.
  • For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or a squeeze of lime.
  • Handle the garlic and ginger gently to preserve their flavor and aroma.
