  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add ice water gradually until dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread sliced apples over half of the dough. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice; distribute over apples. Fold dough to cover filling and seal edges.
  3. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Mix powdered sugar with milk or cream to make glaze. Drizzle over warm kringle after baking. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
