- 200g graham crackers, crushed
- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 600g cream cheese, softened
- 150g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 120ml sour cream
- 125ml butterscotch sauce
- Chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F). Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and butterscotch sauce.
- Pour the filling over the crust and bake for 50-60 minutes until set. Cool in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Top with whipped cream, extra butterscotch sauce, and chopped nuts before serving.

- Ensure cream cheese is softened for a smooth filling.
- Chill the cheesecake thoroughly for best slicing results.
- Feel free to add a sprinkle of sea salt on top for enhanced flavor.
