- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup sugar-free tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh lettuce, tomato, and additional cheese for topping
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients: cook bacon until crispy and crumble, dice onions, shred cheese.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef with diced onions until browned, drain excess fat. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Add tomato sauce and bacon to the beef mixture, mix well. Transfer into a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until cheese melts and bubbles. Broil for 2 additional minutes for a crispy top.
- Remove from oven, top with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles, and extra cheese if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
- Reheat in microwave or oven until hot. Freeze portions for up to 2 months for meal prep.
