- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: slice the bell peppers and onion, mince the garlic.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey, cook until browned, season with salt and pepper.
- Add onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes until fragrant. Add bell peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender but crisp.
- Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce if using, and sesame oil. Mix well and cook for 1 minute to meld flavors. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Notes
- Can substitute ground chicken or beef based on preference.
- Oyster sauce is optional; use hoisin or honey if unavailable.
- Best served immediately, but leftovers keep well refrigerated for up to 3 days.
