Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out one pie crust and fit into a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugars, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice. Toss to coat.
- Pour apple filling into the prepared crust.
- Cover with the second crust, seal edges, and cut slits for steam venting.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown, rotating halfway through.
- Cool before serving for best slicing and flavor.
