  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cooked pasta (penne or spaghetti)
  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  2. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and mince the garlic.
  3. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to make the sauce.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add the chicken strips and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add garlic to the cooked chicken and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the honey and soy sauce mixture, stirring to coat the chicken. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  8. Season with additional salt or pepper if needed. Garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
  • For extra flavor, add chopped green onions or toasted sesame seeds as toppings.
  • This dish pairs well with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
