- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Red pepper flakes to taste
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and Cajun seasoning, cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a simmer. Add smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir cooked pasta into the sauce, toss to combine.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- For a healthier version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or Greek yogurt.
- Serve with a side salad or crusty bread for a complete meal.
