Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into strips
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place beef strips in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add sliced peppers, onion, and garlic on top.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour sauce over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until beef is tender.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
