Instructions
- Cook the orzo pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Stir in diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes to combine flavors.
- Reduce heat, then stir in heavy cream. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked orzo to the sauce, mix well, and heat through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
- Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
