- 2 cups cooked pasta (macaroni or shells)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Stir in shredded cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and BBQ sauce in a large bowl. Pour cheese sauce over and mix well.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish and top with extra shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra smoky flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika.
- Use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
