Ingredients
Scale
- 4 beef chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium and add garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, and black pepper to the skillet.
- Simmer for 8-10 minutes, turning the chops occasionally, until sauce thickens and beef is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Ensure the skillet is hot before adding the beef to get a good sear. Adjust cooking time based on thickness of the chops for desired doneness.
