- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Core the cabbage and blanch leaves in boiling water until soft, about 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine ground meat, cooked rice, chopped onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place a scoop of filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, folding in the sides.
- Arrange rolls seam-side down in a baking dish, pour tomato sauce over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until bubbly and cooked through.

- You can substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
- Serve with a side of crusty bread or a fresh salad.
