  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then egg, then coat evenly with the bread crumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer chicken to a baking dish, spoon marinara sauce over each, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
