Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Mix chicken broth, lemon juice, olive oil, and garlic in a bowl, then pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add rice to the slow cooker, ensuring it is submerged in the liquid.
- Cook until rice is fluffy and absorbs the flavors, about 30 minutes on high.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, add sliced onions or fresh herbs during cooking.
- Adjust the lemon juice for more or less tang according to taste.
