- 1 lb sliced sirloin steak or beef strips
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 low-carb cheese wraps or large lettuce leaves for wrapping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and peppers, sauté until tender. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Push vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add beef strips and cook until browned, then combine with vegetables.
- Lay cheese wraps or lettuce leaves flat. Spoon beef and vegetable mixture onto each wrap, top with shredded cheese.
- Roll up tightly and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts and wraps are crispy.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken or turkey for beef for a different flavor.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce before rolling.
