Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced sirloin steak or beef strips
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 low-carb cheese wraps or large lettuce leaves for wrapping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and peppers, sauté until tender. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Push vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add beef strips and cook until browned, then combine with vegetables.
  4. Lay cheese wraps or lettuce leaves flat. Spoon beef and vegetable mixture onto each wrap, top with shredded cheese.
  5. Roll up tightly and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts and wraps are crispy.
