- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Low-carb flatbreads or lettuce wraps for wrapping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions, peppers, and garlic; cook until softened.
- Add steak strips; cook until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in cream cheese and shredded cheese until melted and evenly coated.
- Place portions of the beef mixture onto low-carb flatbreads or lettuce leaves; roll tightly to form rolls.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms or other low-carb veggies for variety.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
