- 20 large pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup cooked spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, spinach, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture, then place in a baking dish.
- Spoon marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling.
- Use fresh spinach for best results or frozen spinach thawed and drained.
- If desired, top with additional mozzarella or Parmesan cheese before baking.
