- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with garlic butter. Stir in parmesan cheese and sliced chicken.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use whole wheat pasta for extra fiber and nutrients.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
