Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut into evenly sized sticks about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato sticks with olive oil until well coated.
- Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, cayenne (if using), salt, and black pepper over the fries. Toss again to evenly season.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Arrange the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, consider using a nonstick baking sheet or air fryer.
- Cooking time may vary depending on thickness of the fries.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best crispness.
