Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of unflavored gelatin powder
- 2 cups of boiling water
- 2 cups of cold water
- 1 package of fruit-flavored gelatin (preferably red or green)
- Mini marshmallows or candies for eyeballs
- Round candies or homemade eyeballs
- Food coloring (optional)
- Thinly sliced fruit or edible glitter (for decoration)
Instructions
- In a heatproof bowl, dissolve the unflavored gelatin powder in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix thoroughly. Add food coloring if desired.
- Pour the gelatin mixture into silicone molds or small cups. Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or until set.
- Create eyeballs by using small candies or mini gel balls, placing a small candy or fruit piece as the ‘pupil’ before setting.
- Attach mini marshmallows or candies on top of the gel balls to mimic eyeballs, securing with melted gelatin or edible glue.
- Drizzle blood-red syrup or edible glitter over the gel balls for spooky effect. Serve in shot glasses or small cups with themed decorations.
Notes
- Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for 2-3 days for best freshness.
- Use vegan gelatin alternatives if needed, adjusting quantities as per product instructions.
- For extra spooky effects, add edible glitter or colored fruit syrup before serving.
