- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 egg, beaten
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread cranberries evenly over half of the pastry sheet and sprinkle with sugar and orange zest.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
- Cut into equal slices and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add chopped nuts for extra crunch.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
