- 8 ounces of pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 1 pound of thinly sliced beef sirloin or ribeye
- 1 cup of sliced bell peppers (green and red)
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cups of shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers; cook until softened, about 4 minutes.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; cook for another minute.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet, toss to combine.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese; cover and cook until cheese melts, about 2 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add minced garlic during the cooking of peppers and onions.
- You can substitute beef with chicken or omit meat for vegetarian version.
