- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to prepare the sauce.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add vegetables and stir fry until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return chicken to the pan, pour the teriyaki sauce over, and toss to coat evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp for variation.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to taste.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.
