- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add melted butter, vanilla, sugar, and the egg; whisk until combined.
- Sift in baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for the best flavor.
- Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
- This recipe can be doubled for larger loaves or mini muffins.
