- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground meat with chopped onion and garlic until browned; season with salt and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and half of the cheese.
- Spread cooked meat evenly in a greased baking dish.
- Pour soup mixture over the meat and spread evenly.
- Top with a layer of frozen tater tots.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until tots are crispy and cheese is bubbly.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and chopped parsley; bake an additional 5 minutes.
