- 1 lb cooked sausage, sliced
- 2 cups pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Prepare pancake batter by mixing pancake mix, milk, eggs, black pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish.
- Layer cooked sausage slices evenly over the batter.
- Pour the remaining pancake batter on top of the sausage layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground sausage for sliced for a different texture.
- Serve with a side of fresh fruit or hash browns.
