- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 (20 oz) package of cheese tortellini
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken and cook on low for 4-6 hours until tender.
- Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the slow cooker.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and tortellini to the slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 30 minutes or until the tortellini is tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen tortellini; adjust cooking time accordingly.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Serve alone or with a side salad for a complete meal.
