- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix corn, shredded cheese, flour, cornstarch, pepper, salt, green chilies, and cilantro in a bowl until well combined.
- Take small portions and shape into bite-sized balls or patties.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Deep fry the bites until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- You can add chopped onions or other vegetables for variation.
- To make it healthier, bake the bites at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes instead of frying.
