  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Marinate chicken in this mixture for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  5. Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
