- 400g spaghetti pasta
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Gradually whisk in milk, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened.
- Stir in 1.5 cups cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine cooked spaghetti with the cheese sauce. Pour into a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheddar and Parmesan cheeses. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked chicken or bacon for extra flavor.
- For a spicier version, include red pepper flakes in the sauce.
