Deliciously creamy seafood stuffed shells baked to perfection, packed with tender shrimp, scallops, and rich sauces, garnished with fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 pound scallops, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chopped shrimp and scallops, cook until seafood is opaque. Remove from heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Fold in cooked seafood.
  4. Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
  5. Pour remaining sauce over shells and sprinkle with additional cheese and herbs.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute scallops with crab or lobster for different flavors.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
