- 20 large pasta shells
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 pound scallops, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chopped shrimp and scallops, cook until seafood is opaque. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Fold in cooked seafood.
- Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Pour remaining sauce over shells and sprinkle with additional cheese and herbs.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute scallops with crab or lobster for different flavors.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
