A rich and creamy seafood stuffed shells recipe featuring tender pasta shells filled with a savory seafood mixture, baked to perfection and topped with a cheesy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chopped shrimp and cook until pink. Stir in crab meat and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, parsley, salt, pepper, and cooked seafood mixture.
  5. Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
  6. Pour heavy cream over the stuffed shells and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • You can substitute shrimp with scallops or firm white fish.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the seafood mixture.
