- 12 ounces of your favorite pasta
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add diced tomatoes, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Cook for another 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan and fresh basil leaves.
Notes
- Feel free to add cooked chicken, shrimp, or vegetables for extra protein and flavor.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to thin it out.
