Ingredients
Scale
- 200g spaghetti or your favorite pasta
- 300g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine during the garlic sauté.
- Use fresh shrimp for the best taste and texture.
- Serve with a side of garlic bread or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
