- 1 lb (450g) boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated tortellini
- 2 cups (480ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken and cook on low for 4-6 hours, until tender.
- Remove chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the crockpot.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and tortellini to the crockpot, stirring to combine.
- Cook on low for an additional 20-30 minutes until tortellini is tender and sauce is creamy.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving. Enjoy!
