- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, spinach mixture, cream cheese, milk, and shredded cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked turkey for chicken for a variation.
- Use freshly grated cheese for better meltability.
- For a crunchier topping, add breadcrumbs in the last 5 minutes of baking.
